Ed and Katie Wagner, 2008

In 1963, Dwight Moody of Moody Drilling in Meadsville, PA hired Ed Wagner to manage his newly formed branch office, Moody's of Dayton. The branch was a buyout of Don Roe Drilling of Dayton, Ohio, who had retired. Ed, Katie and six children in tow made the move to Dayton, Ohio to run this young operation. By 1965, after a seventh child,  Ed and Katie purchased land and built a state of the art office, machine shop, warehouse and storage yard for the growing well drilling and pump service company. In 2008, the second generation of the Wagner family began managing the company. The original BE-28L is still in use and the facility designed and built by Ed and Katie is the continued home of the company. Through Ed and Katie's vision and hard work, the company today encompasses 10 cable tool drill rigs, 2 rotary rigs and 16 mobile cranes to serve the water supply industry throughout Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Indiana.
